CARROT CAKE
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups cake flour
- 4 pieces whole egg
- 2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup crushed pineapple with syrup
- 2 cups oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup peanut / walnut (toppings)
UTENSILS NEEDED
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Spatula
- Sifter
- Wooden ladle
- Round baking pan
- Mixing bowl
- Baking sheet
- Wax paper
- Electric mixer
- Peeler
PROCEDURE:
- Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well, after each addition
- Blend flour, baking soda, and baking powder and cinnamon powder.
- Add to the creamed mixture.
- Blend in grated carrots, peanuts/walnuts (leave some for toppings), crushed pineapple and vanilla.
- Pour in prepared pan and bake for 35 – 40 minutes until done.
