CARROT CAKE





INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 4 pieces whole egg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple with syrup
  • 2 cups oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup peanut / walnut (toppings)


UTENSILS NEEDED

  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spatula
  • Sifter
  • Wooden ladle
  • Round baking pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Wax paper
  • Electric mixer
  • Peeler



PROCEDURE:
  1. Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well, after each addition
  2. Blend flour, baking soda, and baking powder and cinnamon powder.
  3. Add to the creamed mixture.
  4. Blend in grated carrots, peanuts/walnuts (leave some for toppings), crushed pineapple and vanilla.
  5. Pour in prepared pan and bake for 35 – 40 minutes until done.
