splendid moonlight

is gift-wrapping! I remember one christmas when I started buying gifts during September. By December I had so many gifts to wrap I fell asleep from exhaustion in the midst of wrappers. But it was fun!

This was a gift I prepared for my manita.



The initial wrapping was done at the store for free but they had no ribbons for sale and I did not know where to buy one. So I figured I should just make my own ribbon.

I got the instructions on how to make the ribbon from instructables.com (amazing site). I used cut-outs from magazine (first picture) instead of plain paper. The paper with a heart was just an added touch. I wanted to write something on it, like a poem, but I was afraid my handwriting would ruin everything and I was already very sleepy.

I was happy to observe that my manita, who happens to be Muslim, loved it!
