The Amonsagana Concept

“Amonsagana” combines two Visayan dialects: “amon”, in Ilonggo, which means “our” and “sagana”, in Cebuano, which means “abundance”. Both dialects are dominant in the Visayan region and the location of the Amonsagana Retirement Village reflects both dialects as it sits on the hills of Balamban, Cebu overlooking Negros island wherein Ilonggo is commonly spoken.


As the name suggests, Amonsagana offers would-be residents an abundant lifestyle that is distinct and accented with quiet luxury for those who want a holistic wellness living.

Amonsagana's lifestyle concept emphasizes wellness of the mind, body and soul. It advocates:

Needless to say, Amonsagana is a natural haven for the amazing dragonfly. The four wings of the dragonfly also represents the four phases of the Amonsagana development.

For the logo's colors, each one was perfectly chosen to signify the following:

* Orange, a combination of yellow and red, is the color for transformation with yellow representing perfection and nobility, and red representing happiness and power. Orange is also associated with fun, the unconventional, activity and taste.

* Green is the traditional color of safety and permission. It is associated with nature, vivacity, freshness, calm, tolerance, status and prosperity.

In its color choices, Amonsagana aims to reflect its vision to redefine and transform lifestyles in an unconventional yet, fresh and natural way.
