Looking for something healthy, organic and tastes delicious? Mooshi is what you need. It is a different way to take on the usual greens or the rainbow of colors that fruits and vegetables have.
Mooshi started out from the weekly BTC Food Market. From there, their patrons grew and craved for a place where they can frequently get their juice or smoothie for the day. Mooshi's first branch was opened at SM City Cebu, then Ayala Center Cebu and BTC.
Juicing started out as a need for sustenance for Jun Angeles, who is a triathlete. According to Jun, our body needs the right fuel of fruits and vegetables for it to keep going. He and his wife, Catherine, came up with Mooshi. The fruit and vegetable combinations they have are based on research and taste tests. Husband and wife team Jun and Catherine both said that Mooshi's advocacy is to support local farmers by using organic fruits and vegetables in their products.
Cathy and Jun Angeles, consulted with Chef Chip Lopez to come up with Mooshi's Salad Shakers and Healthy Sandwiches and the result is amazing.
Chip Lopez's choices in coming up with the salad and sandwiches are all based on her personal preference on what she would want to eat when she is out and want to have something filling and healthy.
Mooshi is now offering salads and sandwiches initially at their Ayala and BTC branches.
Ask for a Go Green Card when you visit any of the three branches. The Go Green Card lets you grow your tree and harvest Mooshi Freebies. Mechanics for the card is for every P100 purchase you get a leaf sticker for your tree and for every tree completed you get a freebie.
Mooshi's juices are made from a slow juicer which gives the most nutrients to the body.
Below is an excerpt from Huffington Post about Slow Juicer
"The Breakdown
After testing the juicers and doing some research, here's what we found:
The gist:
Buy a centrifugal juicer if:
-- You use the juice mostly for cooking, baking or other processes where heat will eventually be applied*
-- You're not picky about getting maximum nutrients
-- You're trying to save cash
Buy a slow press juicer if:
-- You're into cleansing, making nut milks and green juices, and you like fresh juice
-- You want to pack the most nutrients into your body as possible
-- You don't mind spending a few extra bucks"
