4th St. Ignatius Run

St. Ignatius Fun Run will be this coming July 13, 2014, Sunday at the South Reclamation Project (SRP). It is now on I ts fourth year, this run is organized by the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu Alumni Batch 1989 and this is for the benefit of the alumni association’s charitable projects.


This year, Batch 1989 is offering something bigger which runners can look forward to, *a 21km half* marathon distance which is perfect for advanced runners, for those who want to try out the distance for the first time, or for those who are looking for a peak race for an upcoming important event this August (Ironman 70.3 Participants). The race also features four options: 3km, 6km, a 12km distance, and a 12km distance relay (a team of 4).

Where: San Pedro Calungsod Templete, SRP, Cebu

The Pedro Calungsod Templete, Cebu's Pride, will be the starting point for this race. The rest of the route includes the entire SRP, where runners will enjoy full road closure. This means one can run, jump, cartwheel, take pictures all you want with your GoPro or your monopod without fear of oncoming traffic. Plus, you also get to enjoy SRP’s perfect scenic views. If you want to make a new personal record, there is no better route to run than on the SRP.

12k distance – 1,500 (singlet & bib for each runner)

Tandem (ADC*SHS alumni / student only )

6k distance – 1,200 pesos (singlet, bib & finishers medal for all finishers)
