The media and the invited guests were treated to a banquet of 10 delightful and nutritional dishes, made from carefully-selected greens, herbs, cheeses, spices and the like.
Carnivores that we normally are, the iSTORYA.NET team gamely trooped to the La Gondola and feasted on the healthy fare namely bruschetta, rice paper rolls with Vietnamese caramel chicken, lentil couscous salad with malagos feta cheese, mung bean hummus with pita crisps, roasted carrot rice paper rolls and mini pizza with roasted vegetables.
Just when we thought we were already done, our senses were invigorated by such delectable dishes such as vegetable burgers with guacamole and salsa, honey mustard vegetable kebabs on basil quinoa, orange glazed tofu on brown rice, and tandoori cauliflower bamboo skewers.
Whoever said healthy dining cannot be a holistic and fun-filled treat should head over to UNO, located at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, to savor these salubrious selections.
