Carmen's Best Ice Cream continues to expand business

Carmen’s Best Ice Cream is expanding its operations in Cebu City. The homemade artisanal ice cream brand started as a hobby has become bigger.


Carmen’s Best Ice Cream best sellers include Malted Milk, Salted Caramel, Brazilian Coffee, and Butter Pecan. The brand continues to expand its flavor list. A good selection of local flavors like Coconut, Ubeng Ube, Cheese, and Real Macapuno is sure to give familiar bursts of flavor. Today, the brand also features a wide variety of international flavors.

The founder of Carmen’s Best Ice Cream, Paco Magsaysay, was exposed to many Western flavors of ice cream in his lifetime. With this, he decided to create his version of the perfect ice cream. He took the traditional Vanilla flavor and made his recipe with vanilla beans from Madagascar. Hokey Pokey, which is made with honeycomb toffee, was something that he first tried in New Zealand. He was even inspired by a Turkish dessert to what we know now as Baklava-inspired ice cream. Carmen’s Best also offers Vietnamese Coffee ice cream. Some flavors are even a play on words. He’s Not Worth It, a rich dark chocolate ice cream, is mixed with Oreo cookies, pecan, walnuts, and thick caramel fudge. Nuts About You is maple-flavored ice cream loaded with nuts.

Carmen’s Best Ice Cream uses 100% cow’s milk and cream fresh from their own dairy farm, made the old-fashioned way. No water, no additives, and no mass-production. It also sources its ingredients from all over the world.

Carmen’s Best Ice Cream is available in Bo’s Coffee and Rustan’s Supermarket branches all over Cebu. You can also find it in Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.
