After her successful concert here in Cebu last February 18, 2012 at St. Theresa’s College Auditorium, Julie Anne San Jose is coming back for another night full of fun and entertainment. Asia’s Pop Sweetheart, certified YouTube sensation and one of GMA’s treasures, Julie Anne San Jose is less than two weeks away from captivating the hearts of Cebuanos once again. The 22nd of April this year is the arranged date for Julie Anne’s mini-show entitled “Up Close and Personal Fans Day”, which is to occur at Cebu’s new happening place in town, @mnezia Superclub, Ouano Avenue, North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City at 8:00 in the evening.
Julie Anne San Jose, who is turning 18 this May, is an exquisitely charming and overwhelmingly talented singer. Most people recognize her as the young girl named “Japs” in the Super Bass video on YouTube. Now dubbed as ‘The Ultimate Musical Princess’ and rightly so, Julie Anne, is a hot property to GMA 7’s concert-TV program ‘Party Pilipinas’ as this versatile songstress belts out melodies from various music genres---from ballad to RnB, from pop to country.
But this blossoming beauty is not about to rest her laurels as she shows the audience what a total performance is all about with her graceful dancing, acting on a musical and excellent rapping. She can also play several musical instruments such as the piano, organ, guitar, drums, beat box, flute and lyre. She also makes her own musical arrangements and does her own blending when she records music covers. Needless to say, this girl is a fabulous one-woman-show.
If in the international scene we have Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, the local scene has Julie Anne San Jose. She has got it all, the looks, the overflowing talent, the determination and the humble personality. The Cebuanos got a taste of some of these talents during her recently concluded concert last month and for that they got more than what they were expecting. She gave out her all with no holds barred and blew her audience away and left them in awe with her singing prowess as well as her guitar and piano playing.
A lot of people have been buzzing about her, that of which earned her the title: Trending Queen on Twitter and Yahoo!. Furthermore, because of this, a lot of doors have opened up for her. Earlier this year she became the new endorser of VANS. She has so many things up her sleeve nowadays that is keeping her very busy. Some of which include an upcoming movie with her on-screen tandem Elmo Magalona entitled: “Just One Summer” which will be shown in theatres this May of 2012. Her much awaited and talked about debut album is in the works and is to come out really soon. Lastly, Julie Anne’s highly anticipated birthday concert which will also be in May.
JAPS, to her loyal fans, is very thankful for the support they have been giving her. To give back, she always finds time to be with her fans and supporters and is very appreciative of all the gifts she received from them as she would be seen wearing and using it. She is known to be kind, responsible, down to earth and a good daughter, sister and friend. With these good traits she has shown, her fans and supporters love her even more.
Julie Anne San Jose was really thankful and grateful for the warm welcome and acceptance she received during her concert that she will unleash her staggering talents to the Cebuano crowd once again. It is a show worth marking your calendars for. If you are in search of great music, this one-night affair is perfect to satisfy your ears’ desire to hear awesome sounds. In that one stage, one woman will mesmerize you with her vocals and several extra spices. Expect some dope rapping, guitar playing and of course, astonishing singing – all by a singular artist.
