Globe advisory on signal shutdown this weekend

In compliance with the directive of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Globe customers in some areas of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, and Cebu cities will temporarily be unable to call, text, or use data along the routes of the following Sinulog Festival 2019 activities:


• Fluvial Procession on January 19 from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This will be held in the cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, and Cebu.
• Solemn Procession on January 19 from noontime to 8:00 PM. This will be held in uptown and downtown Cebu City.
• Sinulog Grand Parade on January 20 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The parade will be held in uptown and downtown Cebu City.

The NTC directive is in view of the request of Police Chief Superintendent Dennis Agustin.
