Dairy Queen has finally made its way to Cebu. The ice cream chain is known for its soft-serve treats. Their famous Blizzard is always flipped upside down when it is served.
Last November 6, Dairy Queen simultaneously opened two branches in the Cebu. The first two branches are in SM City Cebu and Robinsons Cybergate. These are the brand’s first stores outside Luzon.
As a treat, the first 100 customers who visited the two branches when it opened received a free blizzard. Before 2018 ended, they opened a third branch in Ayala Center Cebu. Cebuanos can now indulge in Dairy Queen’s all-time favorite flavors of soft serve blends. The famous DQ Blizzard has a wide range of flavors from Oreo, Chocolate Almond, and Brownie Temptation. The Blizzard of the Month is the Hershey’s Kisses Almond Blizzard. This blend is available in three flavors: Mango Cookie, Double Cocoa, and Cookie Buttercrisp. The Blizzard is always served upside down. The brand takes pride in not doing any shortcuts when preparing their cream. Serving it upside down is a fun way to affirm the quality of their ice cream.
Dairy Queen Cebu also carries other signature soft serve products. They serve the DQ Sandwich, Sundae, Dilly Bar, and DQ Sundae Cone. They also have other cold delights like frappes, shakes, banana split, and ice cream cakes. All their treats are made of 100% soft serve ice cream.
The opening in Cebu marks their continuous expansion to the Visayas and Mindanao. Dairy Queen aims to bring more freezing smiles to DQ fans around the country. For more updates on Dairy Queen, you can follow them on Facebook @dairyqueenphilippines and on Instagram @dairyqueenphils. (Janna Yuvallos)
