WE HAVE A GIFT FOR YOU THIS CHRISTMAS!
Now, that you are reading this, yes, yes! We do have a gift. And as we are wrapping the final touches, we are giddy with excitement, like Santa’s elves prior to Christmas or like little kids in a Taylor Swift concert!
For the past few months, we here at iSTORYA.NET have been tinkering the site and brainstorming on perfecting the best gift we could offer our forumers for their 10years of support. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, we have saved the best for the last month of the year!
So friends, we are more than happy to share with you the newly upgraded iSTORYA.NET—a proud product of collaborative effort mixed with sleepless nights, caffeine overload, brainstorms, slight debacles and laughter overdose.
Expect a lot of visibility and interaction in our homepage as we bring out to you—our active, smart and savvy readers-- engaging and relatable content. And we are not just talking about space fillers here but content that goes further than just informing. Here, you are encouraged to discuss things you love or hate, share your thoughts and experiences, learn something, and sometimes, tackle issues.
You might have seen the iSTORYA Ta questions stickied in the threads which aims to evoke responses from the forumers. Comments and answers are used as reference in our articles. We also feature notable iSTORYANs every month and a notable Cebuano as well. We have invited contributors credible in their own field who can write about fashion, sports, lifestyle, arts and literature, etc. We will even have an advice column wherein you can ask problems that are bothering you right now. Most importantly, the content is written by real individuals, ready to share their expertise and experiences, ready to reach out. Our sponsors are generous as well to give out some surprise prizes to the chosen commenter on a chosen article. The more you interact, the more you get to have a chance in winning these random surprises!
But the homepage is just one thing. The site is also upgraded with bigger and faster servers, which means an iSTORYA.NET with lesser lags and faster interactions in the forums. Plus, new features are added, constantly reviewed in relation to the growing needs of the community. Right now, there is a commenting system that ties directly from the site to your Facebook account. Forum members can also create groups based on common interests. The iSTORYA.NET mobile clients are coming soon, too! With this, iSTORYA.NET will not just be a fixed, stagnant entity but a growing and evolving piece of technology—something that is constantly tweaked and refined to be better, faster and smarter, in order to live up to our tagline of reaching out and bridging gaps.
I could go on and on describing every part of the new upgrade, but I would suggest that you go and explore. We have tools for you to tinker and loads of great content in store, both of which are growing day by day.
So what are you waiting for?
Open our gift, explore and enjoy.
Have a merry Christmas, everyone, from all of us here at iSTORYA.NET! ☺

iSTORYA.NET's Editorial Column
ARAtomy (from the non-existent Greek word,
aratomia from
ara: our EIC and
temnein: to cut up, cut open) is a section of iSTORYA.NET that is the area where common thoughts and opinions are discussed and talked about. It is a general term that dissects emotions, feelings, experiences. In some of its facets,
ARAtomy is closely related to feature writing, opinions, comparative reviews, though common roots are basically everyday living.
The history of
ARAtomy has been characterized, over time, by a continually developing understanding of the functions of the human heart, life’s experiences and its complexities. Methods have also improved dramatically, advancing from observation of others’ experiences, dissection of emotions and reactions to technologically complex techniques involving research in the world wide web.
ARAtomy should not be confused with the general perception of the public as all articles are purely personal opinions by the author herself. Here, iSTORYA.NET portrays perspective from different aspects of life—different strokes for different folks, they say.But in summary,
ARAtomy portrays the belief that beyond the differences, individuals are all one in faith, hope and love.
