Gear up for Cebu Parklane International Hotel’s Hunat Sugbu 8

The Hunat Sugbu: Dagan Para ni Maning Series is a commemorative run organized by Cebu Parklane International Hotel for its late president, Mr. Manuel G. Ting. It was first organized on May 25, 2011, and has become one of the most anticipated runs in the city.


In 2017, over 2,000 runners participated in the run. For its eighth year, Cebu Parklane International Hotel is aiming to exceed the 2,200. The eighth edition of Hunat Sugbu is on June 24, 2018, at the Ayala Center Cebu Terraces. There will be four race categories: 3K, 6K, 12K, and 21K. Registration fees are at Php400, Php500, Php600, and Php800. After the run, participants will be given meals as well as various giveaways and raffle items.

The Parklane organizing team will be introducing the “Time-in Chip” race bib for race categories 12K and 21K. This will be endorsed for a more effective and fast-paced result for the runners. The “Time-in Chip” race bib will be distributed upon the runner’s registration.

All proceeds from this run will be donated to a medical mission in partnership with Jesu Christi.

Registration for HunatSugbu 8 opened last April 7, 2018. Interested participants may register at the hotel lobby from 10 AM to 7 PM daily. Registration booths will also be open at SM City Cebu and Ayala Center Cebu on selected dates.
