Radisson introduces High tea and art

Radisson Blu Cebu introduced its latest series called Art Meets Tea at the Dilmah t-Bar located in the hotel’s lower lobby. Guests may choose from over 21 kinds of tea while indulging in art.A series of afternoon watercolor and calligraphy workshops will be in place.

Last March 10, a floral watercolor workshop was held with surface pattern designer and watercolor teacher, Alessa Lanot. She’s a blogger behind LifeAfterBreakfast.ph.

She introduced watercolor, the importance of using handmade watercolors and professional watercolor paper. In between practicing watercolor techniques and waiting for the creations to dry, the signature Afternoon High Tea set was served. This set of tea-infused desserts is served from 2:00PM-5:00PM every day. Chef Deofrey Vistal introduced the nine art-inspired gastronomy of delicate pastries, sandwiches, and sweets. People may enjoy almond rose St. Honoré cakes, blueberry pomegranate macarons, passion fruit tarts, green tea cheesecake, mango chamomile opera cakes, dried fruits and almond scones with condiments, earl grey beef sandwiches, fried cauliflower tarts with cooked ham, and hibiscus and black tea cured salmon sandwiches.

The following segment in this series will be calligraphy workshops with Coy Barredo, which will happen on the March 17 and 24. Another segment in this series will be calligraphy and floral watercolor workshops with Williza Camille Go. These workshops will happen on of March 18 and 25 as well as on April 15.
