Rustan’s celebrate 65th anniversary

One of Philippine’s brand known for luxury goods and products, Rustan’s is celebrating its 65 years of being in the business. As it celebrates its anniversary, Rustan’s takes its customers back to its roots.


Rustan’s started in the living room of Rustia-Tantoco family. The family displayed unique and luxurious items that they take from their trips abroad. Later on, in 1952, Rustan’s opened their first humble store in old Manila.

Fast forward to today, Rustan’s stands strong and firm with 5 departments stores, 26 supermarkets, and more than 2000 brands.


In its 65th anniversary celebration, Rustan’s has lined-up activities and promotions for that will showcase their story. An exhibit dedicated to the founders Gliceria Tantoco and Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. will be open for everyone at Rustan’s Makati starting Sept. 14. A coffee table book written by Nick Joaquin will also be released in 2018.


There will be over 165 brand deals from all Rustan’s Dept Stores, an exclusive anniversary sale from Rustan’s Supermarket, and a lot more.
