6 Mommy Bag Essentials

On-the-go moms like me need to be prepared all the time for our kids. On top of diapers, milk bottles, formula, water, and clothes for changing there are more essentials that should be on our mommy bags to make our lives easier. Yes! A mom’s life is tough.


Even if my daughter is grown up already, I still make it a habit to carry all essentials with me like wipes, sanitizer, insect repellent and a lot more. You can’t go out unprepared, whether you’re going to the pediatrician, to the mall, or going outdoors.

1. Organic Baby wipes
I’ve discovered Organic Baby Wipes sometime last year. I’ve been using different brands that I can find in the supermarket. Because my daughter has sensitive skin, I always look for wipes don’t have harsh chemicals and I always see to it that it’s alcohol-free, but you can’t be totally sure, right? Unless it says it’s totally organic. Good thing I discovered Organic Baby Wipes, it has no alcohol, no paraben, and no chlorine.

2. Insect repellent
Keep away the bugs. Mommies would do anything to keep mosquitoes away from our children and that’s why I carry an insect repellent all the time. It’s something I can’t lose in my mommy bag. I’ve tried several brands of insect repellent but Giga is my favorite. My daughter likes the smell, it’s light on the skin, and of course, I love it because it’s all natural.

3. Calming Mist
I love having this one in my mommy bag. I use Ory Spa calming mist it helps freshen up my daughter’s skin. It has a lavender smell that makes it relaxing and has a calming effect. I usually use this towards the end of the day when my daughter feels tired from all the activities she had.

4. Hand sanitizer
Echo Store’s hand Sanitizer is also one thing that will always be inside my bag wherever I go. It effectively disinfects but is gentle enough for your baby’s delicate skin. You’ll love the refreshing scent, too.

5. Water Spray
This one I use a lot on me most of the time when we go outdoors. Evian water spray is one product that’s essential for mommies on the go. Just one spray and you’ll feel fresher. As mommies we need to freshen up to feel more relaxed, so we’ll have more energy for our children.

6. Make-up pouch
Now, this one should be in all of our mommy bags! We take care of our family but we shouldn’t forget to take care of ourselves, too. I got my pouch from Flight 001, it’s transparent, compact, and has the right size to hold all my beauty must-haves. And because it’s transparent I can easily locate things from my stash, it’s perfect for mommies like me who don’t have the luxury of time to organize things.
