Doubling the accomplishments of the previous year, the employee-driven GABOH Year 2 generated more than 33,000 backpacks filled with books and school supplies worth Php 18 Million. This was achieved through salary pledges and donations within a 3-month campaign period. The bags were distributed to elementary pupils in 36 public schools and communities nationwide, many of which are established beneficiaries of Convergys sites across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Employees also conducted book storytelling sessions. Over 10,000 volunteer hours were spent in the implementation.
