“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” –John 3:16.
Easter is not just about bunnies and chocolate eggs. It's far more better than that. It is the oldest and probably, the most important Christian... read more
She made me so happy when we finally had an official relationship status. I was now a firm believer that love is sweeter the 2nd time around. We were stronger, more mature and appreciated what we had in comparison to our failed relationships. I wanted her to be happy so I gave her simple surprises just because she delights in them. We have dozens of stuffed babies, I baby talk and I didn’t care if others would find it corny. I am happy. She made me pursue my love in photography and made a business out of it. I would like to say that I somehow made a name in the industry and all thanks to her push to make me do that thing I love doing.
We had a short breakup because of a misunderstanding in Dumaguete. I went out with friends while she was at home. It was there that I realized that I couldn’t live a day without her so I called a good friend, Jayson, to produce an engagement ring. It was the start of a 3-month preparation for the perfect proposal for her—based on her all-time favorite proposal from Monica to Chandler in FRIENDS. She didn’t know during those 3 months and thanks to iSTORYAns belle, pisskhanXXX (who flew all the way from Clark, Pampanga), my siblings, parents, and very close friends. I talked to my family about this plan during one dinner. I said, “Pa, I’m gonna marry Arlyn…I will propose to her.” And my father with a smile said, “I know…” it’s one good feeling to have your parents approve of a lifetime decision. I know I made the right one. The rest of the proposal story is here written by her (click here for story)
My wife is strong—she does not scream when she sees a flying cockroach.
I married her twice—once in a simple church wedding and another on a grand wedding with all friends and family. I married her twice because she’s worth it. Heck, I would marry her every day if I can. I could not, for the life of me, imagine my life had it been someone else. Stories, click here—Church wedding and Grand Wedding.
When you see our stories, it might seem really inspiring but being in it is not a walk in the park. We had so much on our hands to deal with. Recently, our challenges were not your normal, average ones— we transferred houses to be on our own, we lost our 18-day old baby Levi who looked a lot like me (click for story here) and less than 2 months after that, I was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and had to go on chemotherapy. Yes, it is that tragic—for others. Ours is not an easy feat. I am recently battling Cancer and yet, I feel strong. I have never been this calm and composed. My wife dedicated blog articles to document this battle of ours-> Lito Inso aka CraSHBURN
