      Lunch with Chef Gene
Chef Gene assisted by some of the students whipped up a delightful and appetizing four-course menu. A glass of Watermelon Pandan Slush welcomed us at the table.

Baked Crab with Infused Vietnamese Butter Noodles

Baked Crab with Infused Vietnamese Butter Noodles delighted our taste buds. Baked crab is a simple take on the crab relleno matched with fresh noodles.

Sulipan Style Fish al Gratin with Roasted Vegetables

Followed by Sulipan Style Fish al Gratin with Roasted Vegetables. Chef Gene used a local fish called lamlam. He emphasized on using fresh ingredients from the market. A sweet and tangy Kiwi Sorbet cleaned our palate to prepare it for the main dish.

Argentinian Entrana Steak with Mofongo, Caramelized Red Wine Sauce and Balbacua Sauce

Argentinian Entrana Steak with Mofongo, Caramelized Red Wine Sauce, and Balbacua Sauce. The meat as Chef Gene explained is skirt steak. Prepared according to our preference - well done, medium, or rare. For dessert, rich, silky, sweet flavors of burnt sugar, capped our lunch.

Antebellum Crepe with Citrus Buttercream, Tocino del Cielo, Burnt Sugar Ice Cream
