“We are encouraging all local SMEs to participate in this promo for an opportunity to upgrade their businesses by accomplishing a few easy steps. Not only are we giving them a free office makeover, we are also equipping them with the necessary tools to become globally competitive with the help of Microsoft’s premier technologies,” said Bernadette Nacario, Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners Director of Microsoft Philippines.
The promo is part of Microsoft’s campaign designed to help boost the growth of SMEs in the country, encouraging local businesses to create and enhance their IT infrastructure to enable innovation and business growth.
Dubbed as “Transform your Business,” the campaign aims to aid local SMEs to become competitive by improving their operations and increasing their productivity with the right software. Through the program, Microsoft is showcasing the wide array of its latest products and solutions including Windows 7, Office 2010, Windows Server and System Center.
“Businesses, whether big or small, continuously battle economic circumstances and stiff competition and it is important for these organizations to understand how technology can augment the way they do business,” explained Nacario. “With this campaign, we want to emphasize that Microsoft made various technologies easily available, helping SMEs to maximize investments, retain customers, reduce costs and risks and, most importantly, perform better.”
Nacario added that knowing how to utilize technology to every business’ advantage is critical in capitalizing potential and achieving growth. To date, Microsoft has the largest and most comprehensive set of innovative technologies that are open, secure, flexible, and made especially to cater to businesses of increasing sizes in different industries.
“For SME operators and owners like me, it is difficult to keep processes and systems in control considering the minimal investment that we can put out. But with the help of Microsoft, we were able to establish a system that allows us to streamline our operations, remain flexible and utilize resources sans expensive technology,” said Lea Sio, Marketing Communications Director, SCPA.
“I believe that now is the time for SMEs to take advantage of available technologies and take the next step,” she added.
“Microsoft is very committed to continuously help Filipino organizations compete, drive success in their businesses and overcome operational challenges. The campaign serves as an avenue for us to impart to our fellow Filipinos that we, as a company and as their partner, can help them make smart investments while sustaining productivity and growth,” concluded Nacario.
