Hello Pal is a social language learning app that connects people from all over the world with completely different foreign languages. The app is dedicated to connecting people across the globe in a fun, interactive, and educational way as they learn a foreign language (or more) in an instant.
Language is no longer an obstacle to people all over the world communicating with each other, regardless of the language they speak, as Hello Pal’s unique combination of phrasebooks and translation tools are integrated into its chat messaging system.
“One of our missions is to remove the language barrier between people that has existed through the centuries, therefore letting people understand each other better and bringing the world closer together,” said KL Wong, founder of Hello Pal.
Wong, the China-based founder of Hello Pal International Inc. which is the sister company to BrillKids Inc., creator of multiple award-winning early childhood programs, believes that this tool will not only provide an avenue for new friendships but is more of an effective language learning tool.
Hello Pal is based on the principle that the best way to learn a language is where speaking comes first, and learning comes second. Traditional methods of language learning require a person to first study the language rules and memorizing vocabulary before actually using the language with other people.
Hello Pal encourages users to learn and speak, “on the go.” It allows users to filter and find interesting people they want to chat with based on location and nationality. The app’s easy-to-use interface lets users learn the language through audio guides and phrasebooks, record the phrase and send it to the other person.
Hello Pal is currently released for Android on Google Play, all major app stores in China, and at the iOS App Store.
