Mugnâ showcases Couture and Culinary Craftsmanship

A showcase of golden south sea pearls and radiant couture.

Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa showcased Jewelmer's Joaillerie - Spring/Summer Collection 2016 and the Pamana Collection.

Jewelmer Joaillerie brought the golden South Sea pearl to Cebu, the Queen City of the South where guests enjoyed a fashion show featuring Jewelmer's Joaillerie’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection and fashion creations by designers Rhett Eala and Mia Arcenas.


The Pamana Collection is the first Jewelmer collection to have a Filipino name. The unique shape of the baroque pearl inspired the Sarimanok design. The collection consists of a long strand and short strand pearl necklaces, and a Sarimanok designed brooch.


Couture and culinary craftsmanship truly shine at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu.


The afternoon was complemented with bites of the Chocolate High Tea selection served with a pot of premium tea. Sarah, Shangri-La's Chocolate Sommelier, taught us how to fully enjoy the chocolate bites by doing the right sequence as to which one should be eaten first until you get to the last piece, to have that perfect after-taste of chocolate satisfaction. The more adventurous chocolate aficionados had the option of indulging in signature cacao-infused martinis, made in partnership with Grey Goose Vodka.

The couture pieces will be on display at the resort’s Events Center and the entire season will culminate with a grand finale on Aug. 31, 2016.
