The three-day event is open to engaged couples, wedding suppliers and students who want to venture into the beautiful world of weddings. More than 30 exhibitors and 15 partners and sponsors have already registered for the event.
“This will be a complete show for weddings. It includes everything a wedding should have from start to finish. It is a one-stop shop for weddings,” said Gerralyn Longakit, Conventions and Events Manager for Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
“The event will showcase different wedding suppliers including photographers, florists, wedding designers and wedding planners. We also have Kia and Peugeot who will showcase their bridal cars. It is definitely a one-stop shop for weddings,” she added.
The expo will kick off with the unveiling of the wedding venues and the introduction of the sponsor and exhibitors, followed by a fashion show featuring bridal gowns created by top fashion designers. Soon-to-wed couples will have the chance to meet wedding specialists in the cocktail reception at the Mediterranean Hall. The men will have their own dose of fun at the after party at the Treff Bar wherein the first 100 will get a round of standard drinks. The ladies already had their cocktail reception last October 17 after the "Night with Soltera" fashion show participated by the Fashion Institute of Design and Arts.
Different seminars on wedding preparations conducted by wedding experts will be held on the second day, which includes creative design, wedding planning, floral arrangements, bridal gowns and hair and make-up. There will also be competitions for make-up, centerpiece making and table presentation which is open to students and wedding enthusiasts. A Lingerie Fashion show with Victoria Secret will commemorate the three-day event.
