get an internal TV tuner... Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP Expert Edition, no problems with this one. Sold a lot already, let me know if you are interested.

External ones will always be a little bit pricier than their internal counterparts but you do have the convenience of being able to move it around easily on different systems (if this applies to you). I have a Leadtek WinFast External USB II TV/FM myself which I move around between my PC & notebook. I've been quite happy with it.

try lifeview flytv prime 30 internal tv tuner , clear reception, uses philips decoder ic.

leadtek external USB is much better, for mobility use....
