how to avail of Vista home premium 64bits DVD

Hello peeps.

I'm planning to buy vista home premium. and i really wanna use the 64-bit DVD version since its more secure.

I have checked the package it says:
Includes 32 bit DVD and information on obtaining 32 bit CDs or a 64 bit DVD, additional fees may apply.

the package only includes the 32bit DVD

Has anybody tried purchasing this and ordered the DVD 64 bits version?

also is it even applicable if we order 64 bit dvd version here in the Philippines?
can we have it mailed to our doorstep as what microsoft has stated?

I'm have doubts about this one since this is a bit pricey and what if I can't get the 64bits dvd version. I would really not like this if I can only avail the 32bit dvd version.

Just switched to Vista Ultimate 64bits. Now a full 4096gigs is detected in the taskbar from 3.25gigs for vista 32-bit. :mrgreen:

And we thought you already have the Vista Ultimate 64bit

SO far wala paman koy problema sa drivers. I have the ultimate 64bits edition.

The driver support issue is overrated. Maybe 16bit drivers and applications is what your talking about since 64bits wont support that file system.

The problem of vista here is how to you know. The c word. But currently i'm working on it and I have a temporary solution to reset the timer. I'm still working on a permanent C.

with 32 bit no problem with c wording it. 64 bits somehow is more difficult.

And as always updates for windows is very important since it has issues with security if you're using the P***** version you cant avail of the updates. Thats why i'm thinking about getting an original copy of the vista home premium vista 64bits.

Never mind I know how to get the home premium 64bits. In fact I already have it here with me. I have a copy 64bits Ultimate it includes all the versions will just have to reinstall and use the home premium version and activate it using the original serial key.

But it would be nice If I could really get the original copy of the 64bits DVD from MS.

Do you have the slightest idea on what your talking about ? 16bit drivers and applications... thats been long gone since the win98 era..

If you have the retail version of Vista, you can order a 64bit copy from MS and you pay for S&H. You can't do this with OEM versions though ... I tried.

Also, you can also download copies of Vista. I know I downloaded my copy of Vista from the all-in-one version (which version gets installed depends on your key) from betanews and used my CD-KEY.
