nice, kay gamay xa na laptop though 4GB lang ang HDD.. pwede na for surfing the net and watching videos and word processing.. limited ang games
of course di ni for games. and it's SSD (solid state drive, think like it's a flash drive only that it has a faster transfer speed, like SATA). sugot kaayo ko giftan og ingon ani daghan na kaayo ko mabuhat ani para school.
mao nay klarong notebook.....
nah its pretty expensive for a 4gb linux based machine. your better off with a 2nd hand notebook that can do way more on a bigger screen. this machine is overrated
IMHO not woth it...
I don't directly compare it with the big lappies. I think of it more of a REALLY portable device like the PSP and DS. Pretty sure you can game with old PC games, and some emulators, and much easier to install other software like word processor, web browser, pdf reader, mp3 player, video player, with a legitimate mouse and keyboard. If you are going to do office work with it, you'll be squinting your eyes all day. Big lappies are for work on the run, but the eeePC would suffice for multimedia and internet browsing on the go. But again there are not enough wi-fi spots in cebu...
I think these are really for minimalist people who want their toys to be small but still functionable.
ASUS actually has driver support for windows xp, you'll just have to modify XP to make it a small install to fit it in the 4gb drive.
meh i'd rather go buy a second-hand pentium m for around 20k pesos. i think there are even brand new ones at around 25k pesos.
now if they sell that thing for around 10k pesos (which was its intended price, around $200), then i'd definitely go for it
murag dili na notebook bro... murag either tickler or scratch paper na lang hehehe
notepad instead of wordpad... hhehehe..Originally Posted by emoners
