Default Manual AWT/Swing programming too tiring

Naa open-source AWT/Swing drag and drop tool? Nag-study ko design patterns and some of the examples use AWT/Swing. Since I'm the kind of "geek" that doesn't
just copy code but actually intuit things. I love programming pero kapoy man layout UI components sa Java manually oi. Since di man sad ko ganahan palit pirated Java IDEs,
nangita ko freeware or open-source Java UI layout manager. I'll google for some but you handsome and pretty folks out there might already found the best of the rest

Thanks gloryhunter. Wow, NetBeans is a full-pledge Java IDE. I wonder why it isn\'t as popular as Eclipse though?

    Hype.

They said Eclipse is fast but it's not true. I was an eclipse user and it was memory/cpu hog.

Btw, you can download Sun Java Studio Creator for free. It's a commercial IDE of Sun that is based on netbeans with useful add ons like Rapid web development using JSF.
