I've been thinking of upgrading my almost 5 year old gpu, HD 6990. I've been looking at some stores and online, what I found was the R9 300 series, though its a rebrand of a rebrand, but its utilizing the GCN 1.2 which means full support for DX12 and it was dirt cheap! I mean 8GB of VRAM for 329USD?! I could use those for my multi monitor setups!
I'm looking also at Nvidia's counterpart, seems too expensive.
Any thoughts and advice?

ok ra man ang R9 300 series kaso, refresh ni sya. if gusto ka mo upgrade, embrace the current technology... wla'y lain kundi, ang Fury X (on AMD's side)... or huwat ka mogawas ang dual GPU offering nila para ilis sa imohang HD 6990...
dili man gyud need nimo dba na mag upgrade ka karon dayon? if daghan na stocks sa Fury X ug mag dive down ang price sa competition (Nvidia), basin mo ubos pa ni ang price sa R9 300 series... then, pwede naka mag spank sa fastest R9 300 series if you'll not embrace the Fury X or the offering from the competition...

dili man karn daun ngay...still waiting for latest release from AMD and Nvidia pako..okay raman unta ang 970 pero dili jud justifiable para nako ang performance sa price, 980 ti is good but i still have to wait for this year since q4 for is already near...nya ganahan pako mag dual gpu config. basta, huwat lang usa dha. for sure, inig abot sa time na mag purchase naka'g new GPU, mang barato nang mga prices nila puhon...

The r9 390 is now the new king of price to performance vcard and killing 970 by wide margin + future proofing especially if mag upgrade ka og 1440p with its 8g vram.
The Sapphire Nitro worth only 16,300 at retail stores. Everything ultra settings to 1080p
