^ reason, gamay ra mamalit sa mga "Intel Extreme CPU series" maong wla mag stock on-the-shelf ang mga PC shops dha but, pwede ra siguro mo order... sakit2x lang gyud ni's pocket ang "Extreme" series... plus, ang mobo pa gyud nya... kun kani ang pili-on, dapat, ready ang tanan... ehehehehe...

for bench mark lang (prices are based here in mainland China and converted to php), kaning i7-5960X kay price range nya, w/in 51K ~ 53K php... then kun mag inigat ug mobo, naa sa 30K php and above price range... then mag DDR4 mem... 4GB modules price range... 2133 MHz (2.5k ~ 3K php)... 2400 MHz (2.6K ~ 3.2k php)...

the LGA 2011 platform is "intended" not for the masses... maong, dili mag stock ang shops ani kay dili maka tuyok ang puhonan... bisan consignment pa siguro... mas mo opt sila'g mga fast moving stocks...

I see.. so stranded ta sa 4th gen till the Broadwell comes nxt year? Hopefully 6th gen with 6 cores kai pang masses nah..

kun threat pa ang AMD ron, bisan pa desktop variant CPU sa intel, pagawas na sila'g 6 cores/12 threads for sure... kana kun ang current 4 cores/8 threads nila, bya-an sa AMD FX CPUs (or unsa ang tawag nila sa enthusiast level CPUs kun naa na'y bag-o). dili man nice design ang micro-architecture sa AMD man gud pud. CMT kay hinay. this is a fact man. no contest man maong easy go lucky ang intel. wait and see ta's upcoming new generation sa AMD, basin maka tarog sa Intel...

personally, ang wish nko kay mag pagawas ang AMD ug CPU that can rival shoulder to shoulder intel's offerings in a "performance-to-watt ratio" para mag kisi2x na sila duha ug palabwanay napud sa units in sales which will eventually affect the price drop. bottom line, kita'ng mga consumers ang malipay... hehehe...
