Need suggestions (Intel or AMD processor)

I have been really thinking of which i SHould get

between these processor and mobo

1st choice:
Intel E6600
motherboard: DFI P965 Infinity Dark

2nd choice:
AXP x2 5600+
MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S3H

As you know I reallt not into pricey mobo since i'm just a starter.
both Mobos OC pretty good.
But DFI is better and has a raw power FSB to boost the E6600
I'm also considering AMD option since AMD is more superior in terms of processor architecture and Oh Phenom is going to be compatible with AM2.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

thanks for the inputs. I think ill be going for intel. already decided based on the performance of the motherboards. Will going for a crossfire upgrade in the future and intel boards are the mainstream xfire mobos.

BANG for bucks : AMD 6400+ at 3.2GHz - stock setting / price and performance

BUCKS for a LOUD BANG : INTEL..stock setting or overclocked...

Well currently on the market Crossfires are mainstream in Intel Boards while AMD have SLI.

There is no crossfire currently for AMD mobos, there is one the radeon xpress but it sucks in OC.
And AMDs 690g can only do 4x on the 2nd pci slot.

I mainly want the Intel setup due to xfire capability.
Intels xfire mobo ocs pretty good.

I really cant argue much since I dont have a computer and I have to commit an illegal surfing in work. If I spend too much with these cheapasses argument.

But anyhow sept 10 will be the end of the crown performance by Intel and AMD most likely with all newly released processors will be expensive.
