A piece of history between the Binays, the Aquinos and Philippine politics in general.

Background: During Arroyo's term, a suspension was sent out against Binay on grounds of anomalies involving "ghost employees". Corazon Aquino shows her support for Binay against the suspension.

"We would show that we are all for justice... Jojo, you can count on my support and prayers. We should all pray for justice," said Mrs. Aquino, calling Binay by his nickname.

"We all see his goodness to his constituents, especially to the students, to those in need of health care... He showed that he could take care of his constituents. I think he is a role model for all mayors," she said of Binay, who first became Mayor when she was in Malacanang."

I would not put the future of my country in the hands of those two political families or any political dynasty for that matter. Just look at the names in that article and look at where these people stand right now. See how allegiances shift not for the sake of the nation but for the sake of political convenience.

Tinuod ni! And for the Aquinos, it's payback time! They will stand behind Binay no matter what it takes and without due regard for what is truly best for our country. Kani laging Filipino trait nga utang na loob can sometimes stand in the way in our quest for a better future. It is an insurmountable hindrance that has a debilitating effect on our nation. (sob!)

Not unless we all unite with steadfast resolve to deny Binay the presidential seat.

Remember when Corazon Aquino was all buddy-buddy and seemingly close with Arroyo? Remember how she used to defend Arroyo whenever issues of corruption came up against Arroyo?

And remember when she turned against Arroyo? Which was right after the Hacienda Luisita case blew up and Arroyo did nothing to assure Corazon Aquino that her administration will protect the Aquinos.


The political parties in the Philippines don't have any strong foundation of ideals that benefits our country. The only ideal they're concerned with is self-preservation in the political field. That's why we have lots of turn-coats and political butterflies.

Accusing Binay is a joke, dis is just a big circus for 'em politicians leaving us in the dark. One can imagine if Binay would be elected, we'll definetely be on the darker side
