Need your expert advise for best value speakers and sound card

Guys,
I need your advise. I'm planing to use my old PC which is only PIII-753Mhz with 512MB memory as my TV, DVD player and some not so fancy games.

What I have in mind is to buy either an external or internal Sound Blster Live 24-Bit in PC Express and either Creative Inspire T5200, T5900 or T 7900.

I'm not sure which one to pair to maximize it. Hopw what will I choose would be good quality and best value for money. I'm open to any other brands and models as long as the price range would be somewhat similar to the speakers and sound card above.

Any advise would be great.

unaha soundcard nimo, at the least sb live nga 5.1 wid spdif out basta eax technology, ayaw audigy kay audigy one is similar to sb live, only playback is 24bits, ang difference sa audigy 2 is true 24bit recording but dili man sad ka mo record, then you can build speaker systems around that, whether pc surround speakers or home theatre systems.
But nag libog ko, if you use the pIII for DVD, TV player, important consideration nimo is your graphics adapter, kay murag mo ungot ungot na ang pIII sa mga dvd nya im guessing na a kay PCTV na card, so unless kusog kaayo na imong vidcard, murag mag ungot ungot gyud na.

as far as i know video card doesnt have anything to do with DVD playback speed. it mainly depends on your processing power as it has to decode the video.. unless you have a DVD decoder.

dili na ko sweto ana, kay xperience lang nako sa una sa PIII na hp namo, mo stutter gamay ang video, but pag ilis nako from ordinary 8mb na vidcard to a tnt2 ultra ni okay na

Thanks for your inputs. I have a 64MB video card for my PIII. I'm also planning to buy a TV tuner.
