Default First time PC building. Help!

Nana jd tawn ang parts sa akong PC. Suppose to be last month pa ni pero giutong lang jd nako para maka i5 ko. The case will arrive next week.

Specs : akong gibutangag price para naa say idea atong mga istoryans nga wa kabalo sa price diri sa Bangkok. Around 26k PHP ni nga build base sa conversion from THB to PHP.

    GIGABYTE H81M-DS2 - 1,890 THB
    INTEL 1150 CORE I5 4440 3.4 GHz - 6,090 THB
    1.0 TB HDD WD SATA-3 64MB BLACK - 2,750 THB
    ASUS GTX750TI OC 2GD5 - 5,490 THB
4 GB RAM PC DDR3/1333 KINGSTON Hyperx - 2,760 THB
    POWER SUPPLY CORSAIR 550W (VS550) - 1,690 THB
Prodigy M - 2,590 THB (Some are saying nga not a good choice daw ni because of poor layout and cooling pero sakar raman guro ni akong setup and aircon sad akong kwarto so dli siguro kaayo problema ang cooling.)

    Problems :
Nagtan.aw na kog mga tutorial about pc building but I need more specifics.

    1. Knahanglan ba jd ang antistatic wristband? / Unsay best way para maka avoid ug static electricity? (Electrophobia tawn ko)
    2. Unsay angay nako nga e.avoid para dli mafry akong components?
    3. Pwede ra ba dli isaksak ang PSU while mag assemble sa ubang parts? (naa koy nakit.an nga inani sa youtube)
    4. Pwede ra ba ang PSU maoy last epaslak sa case? (kita sad ko ani sa youtube)
    5. Asa ko angay mag assemble? (carpet, wooden desk, metal table, etc.)

I know it sound stupid but I really don't want to spend money for antistatic wristband maski pag electrophobia ko kay nagdaginot intawn ko pag ayo. (if necessary jd, aw palit nalang ko)

Some are saying that PC building is not really a big deal BUT I just want to make sure kay wa na intawn koy para palit ug lain if masayop ko. hehe. tabang intawn mo mga master. We all had our first time PC build.

1.) over ra nang anti-static wrist wrap @ts, it's enough to touch the metal casing, or ground your self by touching a cement wall, or pag tiniil sa cement/tiled floor. that way ma discharged na dayun tanan static electricity nga na build up and na depost sa imong lawas. why I say over ra ang wrist wrap? because your motherboard was (probably) handled by their retailer without using a strap, some or most of them stick a warrantee sticker sa motherboard/videocards etc, and they thoughtlessly don't care about those static electricity, so why be so much over yourself dba? again, simply grounding yourself first is enough. 2.) Other do's would be installing the standoff crew to avoid short-circuiting the motherboard (para dili sya ma touch sa metal casing, etc. never touch the processor slot pins sa motherboard, also the bottom of the processor. 3.) and 4.) --and what u mean pwede ba dili isaksak ang psu while nag assemble ka? you should unplug everything from the electric socket if mag assemble ka. yes pwede ra PSU ang last e saksak, as long as nga before nimo e ON ang PSU, be sure nga naka connect na tanan wires nga kinahanglan. 5.) And lastly, its better to assemble if your feet is touching a concrete floor (para continuous ang discharging sa imong static electricity while nag assemble ka, labaw na if madugayan ka -though its enough ra pod to touch your casing from time to time para maka discharge ka. avoid that metal table kay magaras imong mga items. sakto na ang wooden desk, or desk nga naay mantel, para dili manga garas ang mga pintal sa power supply, etc.

Just follow what @Tech Guru states and everything is well

Ako lang idugang, kung carpet ang flooring sa imu gipuy-an or gi stayhan diha (as you have stated naa a sa gawas on your previous thread) ayaw pag tiniil, kay maka cause ug static ang pag rub sa imu tiil sa carpet

    grats on your first build

1.) sakto na ng i ground nimo imong self by touching metal parts of the case. in all my builds, i have never used a wristband and i didn't fry any components yet...
2.) blood, sweat, and tears! bitaw... basta unplug everything when building... the last thing you want to plug in after double checking everything is good to go is the power supply cable from the wall outlet... also be careful with conductive components touching your PCB's kay basin mag short (practical example - asus soundcards with shielding... conductive na, ayaw i dikit pag ayo sa uban parts... hapit ko disgrasya ani sa una, dikit kaayo ang soundcard sa luyo sa akong video card... may gani ka realize ko og akong gi test kung conductive ba ang shielding, i thought plastic but ni lihuk ang tester so it's metal... 2nd realization, "shielding" gani so conductive gyud na... )
    3. Big NO
    4. Ipaslak meaning imo i mount sa case? generally yes, but depende sa imong case... naay uban mas maayo i-plastar nimo daan ang PSU but plastar lang dili i connect sa wall outlet usa...
    5. Avoid conductive surfaces as much as possible... carpet is a big NO kay daghan static dha... plastic table pwede pero ayaw trapuhe beforehand kay that will build static... generally any table pag hapin nalang og non coductive material... kanang cardboard ay naa daghan sa national or maski karton nga karaan nga naa diha sa inyo balay nindut na ihapin...

    ASUS GTX750TI OC 2GD5 - 5,490 THB
    asa ka ani na price?

4 GB RAM PC DDR3/1333 KINGSTON Hyperx - 2,760 THB
    mahal ra. php3.3 ra ang 2 x 4GB gskill na ddr3 1600 sa BnS

    POWER SUPPLY CORSAIR 550W (VS550) - 1,690 THB
Prodigy M - 2,590 THB (Some are saying nga not a good choice daw ni because of poor layout and cooling pero sakar raman guro ni akong setup and aircon sad akong kwarto so dli siguro kaayo problema ang cooling.)
    ok ra ni.

gunit lang ug silver na tinidor or kutsara b4 handling any components

    2. Unsay angay nako nga e.avoid para dli mafry akong components?
    excitement! focus lang .

    3. Pwede ra ba dli isaksak ang PSU while mag assemble sa ubang parts? (naa koy nakit.an nga inani sa youtube)
ayaw lang, kay makalimot nya ka. sagdi lang to sila kay mga PRO na.

    4. Pwede ra ba ang PSU maoy last epaslak sa case? (kita sad ko ani sa youtube)
    5. Asa ko angay mag assemble? (carpet, wooden desk, metal table, etc.)
depende nimo. mas maayo if mga third, after na assemble na nimo ang mobo and procie para ma test nimo if mu work ba, like turning it on without ram = result is loong beep

    mas maayo sa table.

do it slowly, if problem arises, do not foce it. ASK for guidance.
