There's a “RocknRolla” reunion on the horizon, as Idris Elba is in talks to co-star in Guy Ritchie‘s “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.
Elba is not circling the lead role of Arthur, but rather an older Knight named Bedivere, Arthur's father's right-hand man who takes it upon himself to train the young warrior for battle as he learns his true destiny.
Joby Harold wrote the script and will produce with his Safehouse Pictures partner Tory Tunnell, as well as Akiva Goldsman and Lionel Wigram.

Astrid Berges-Frisbey To Be Guinevere In Guy Ritchie King Arthur Film | Deadline
Warner Bros and Guy Ritchie have set French actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey to play Guinevere in Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur. The casting comes after the studio set Sons Of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam as King Arthur.
Berges-Frisbey was in the cast of Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. She was born in Spain, grew up in France and started on French TV in 2007. She had to learn English when she was cast as the mermaid Syrena in the Pirates blockbuster.
