Role Summary:
Seeking an experienced Database Developer and Administrator (SQL/Oracle/MySQL) with MS Dynamics CRM exposure for a three-month contract assignment that may extend depending on project requirements. Candidate must also have some experience with Java. Candidate must be based in Cebu City and must have at least three years of experience in the relevant field.

Essential Requirements:
1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:
- RDBMS Administration in one or more
· MS SQL (Advanced) ver. 2008/2012
· Oracle (Intermediate): ver. 10g/11g
· MS Dynamics CRM (Intermediate): 2011/CRM 4.0 and above
- Experience in Java, HTML , MySQL
- Industry certifications relevant to the role

2. Skills and Experience in a delivery environment in:
- Windows Server (Advanced): Ver 2008/2012
- SharePoint Server (Intermediate): Online/Foundation
- Java and/or Groovy

3. Proven experience:
- Database Design and Administration;
- Writing SQL scripts and queries;
- Software Development Lifecycle;
- Maintains an understanding of DNS;
- Maintains an understanding of MS Active Directory Functions;
- Maintains an understanding of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting;
- Proven knowledge of Windows Security;
- Maintains an understanding of ITIL Principles;
- Demonstrates knowledge of Network principles, protocols and practice
- Troubleshoot and data cleanse
- Competent in the use of computers
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take instruction, and work well within a team environment

Preferred, but not essential:
1. Experience Administering and supporting MS SQL Cluster databases;
2. Experience maintaining backups with Snap Manager for SQL (NetApp);
3. DTS, SSIS package experience;
4. SSAS;
5. .NET and/or other development experience;


Responsibilities:
1. Develop new software solutions using standard technologies (SQL, Java)
2. Day-to-day operations and maintenance of database servers, databases on the clients networks including:
4. Installation, configuration, optimisation, upgrade, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of physical databases;
5. Provision of technical advice and resolution of incidents affecting database availability and performance;
6. Recommend improvements in processes to support the reduction of inefficiencies or variances and to achieve consistent and best practice delivery of database management activities;
7. Maintain database replication, mirroring and log shipping to meet the customers’ requirements for data availability and disaster recovery;
8. Create and maintain physical database schema(s) including back-up and restore;
9. Database performance and Query tuning;
10. Liaise with application users to confirm requirements for system, back-up, and other requirements;
11. Develop policies and procedures governing corporate database operations and related issues
12. Continuous improvement of work practices to automate and reduce support practices
13. Lead small projects, train and supervise junior staff, coordinate the efforts of users and other groups
14. Undertake research including evaluation of new or upgraded software, tools, and techniques;
15. Write documentation and provide progress reports to management.
