Portnoy probably has more tricks.. more technical prowess pero Neil Peart is a thinking drummer. He's not "ALL-SHOW" unlike Portnoy who constantly OVERPLAYS everything.Â* Neil Peart's drum parts are so well thought-out nga maka ingon gyud kag wala na kay ika puno.Â* Â*Ang iyang mga solos nindot gyud kaayo pagka himo, smooth gikan sugod hangtos sa last.Â* Compare nimo sa Portnoy's complaint, ang kang Portnoy kay murag lain lain nga solo-sessions unya gi sumpay.Â* Dili smooth ang transistions between parts.

I'd compare PORTNOY to DONATI pero ug PORTNOY to PEART, murag nag compare ka sa usa ka taw ngadto sa iyang ginoo `cause that's how Portnoy sees Neil Peart.Â* I would compare PEART to Bruford, or diba ni si Bonham (pero layo nasab kaayo sila ug style).

i'd go for neil peart, but have u guys seen Mark Zonder of "Fates Warning" live, he kicks both peart and portnoys ass, hes a legend, grabe tawhana morag dili tao, octupos drumming iya style like vigil donati pero mas maayo pa........ grabe kalma kaayo mo drums,
