kanang.. naay two ka PCs with the same IP?
I think dili na pwede.. sa computer lab sa donbosco kay kung naay 2 ka pcs that have the same IP, mo reklamo ang computer na naa kunoy parehas ug IP niya.
if you mean having 2 ip's for one computer, yes it's possible.
yes pwede dual ang IP in one unite but not 2 pcs
pwede same IP nya duha ka computer pero kanang wla cla ka network
individual connection cla and same IP.......pwede na!
dual IP is possible as long as it wont be identical. Say in a computer, IP address of the built in card is 192.168.0.1, the PCI card is 10.10.10.1. Both can be active without any problem at all.
kung imo pasabot duplicate IP on a LAN-- dili pwede.. pero if imo pasabot dual IP on a computer pwede.
for the example above og mr tamblot,
built in card is 192.168.0.1, lets name this network as 'home'.
PCI card is 10.10.10.1, lets name this network as 'office'.
and name this pc as 'mypc'.
my Qs are:
-instead of using 10.10.10.1, can i change it to 192.168.2.1?
-will it be posible to trap the users of 'home' network from accessing to 'office' network? but 'mypc' can access both 'home' and 'office' networks.
Q1: yes.Originally Posted by etgo
Q2: Both cards cannot be active simultaneously unless you enable internet connection sharing. As for the access, its more of the routing/firewalling thing.
so i have install a firewall software for this?
