Default Commission on Human Right is in a correct state of mind?

What can you say about the comment of CHR on the case of Ozamis Robbery Group Compared to the Davao shootout?

CHR commented that what happened to Davao Shootout is "Murder" furthermore overkill by the police davao.

yesterday OGR leader was arrested, presented to the media, transported to cavite for inquest and found ambushed by unidentified gunmen. Is it really ambushed or they also belong to summary execution?
according to de lima they did this to silence the leader of the group since they have protectors from pnp

CHR commented that this group has a record of escaping the policemen from their first capture. This group is a high profiled organized group, the police did the right thing.

what can you say about this istoryans?

I do think that they were ambushed by the persons involved in their own organization and not by the police..
its more feasible and made sense than the police doing the killing themselves..

    The same sentiments here...

Rather than let them go in and out of the prison, mamiktima pa ug lain, worst is makapatay pa ug innocenteng tawo, maypay ilabay na lang ning mga tawhana sa basurahan...

There's nothing wrong with due process. Local leaders operating above the law is a recipe for disaster and unacceptable in civilized society. The law is the law.... whether you are a petty criminal or a city mayor you should obey or face the "legal" consequences. This is the 21st Century and such incidents are a blemish on the nation. Ignoring basic human rights issues is not only immoral, but has serious consequences for everybody. Weapons sales to PH are restricted because of this and other issues. The outside world is telling us to get our house in order.
