Why did Juan Ponce Enrile:

1. Fake his own ambush as per his own admission to help Marcos justify the declaration of Martial Law in Sept. 21, 1972?
2. Cheat then Presidential Candidate Cory Aquino as per his own admission during the 1986 EDSA revolution of several thousand votes in his own home province of Cagayan during the 1985 Presidential Snap Elections?
3. Provide inspiration to Gringo Honasan in several coup attempts during the Cory Administration thereby causing the downfall of the Philippine Economy at that time?
4. Allegedly resort to "Dagdag-Bawas" in order to ease out Aquilino "Nene" Pimentel in the 1995 Senatorial Elections which Pimentel was able to prove in the courts?
5. Act as one of ERAP's most rabid defenders in the ongoing Senate Trial?

Why will Enrile still vote to ACQUIT ERAP despite ERAP's very obvious GUILT on all counts?

Enrile's book you mean? Heck I would. Enrile's probably the only person from a bygone era who knows the country's juiciest secrets. I don't care much for him, but he's a politician who probably knows everything about the Marcos years.

^ I sold a property to a guy I later found out was a Marcos crony. Had I known before we got into the deal I wouldn't have entertained him. Those people bled the country enough already and it's a travesty that many of them continue to rule the roost.
