Logo Design rates - questions

i have been working as graphic designer. mostly akong work kay long term / full-time work. kasuway kog mga ginagmay nga projects nga fixed and pang short term.

i have designed a few logos and company identities to various clients diri sa cebu and have received payments already.

But i want to know from the graphic designers here what is the standard starting rate? i once charged my client P2000 for a logo design for a chain of beach resorts. this service included a handful of studies and revisions.

does anyone think that i charged too much or too low? give me opinions mga brads and sis.

ps, im not sure whether the topic belongs to this category, i apologize in advance. i did a reasearch tho b4 posting.

It depends on how much you value your time and how much you want to go into freelancing.

If you're going for full freelancing, it also depends if you're working longterm for the client.

If it's a one shot deal, like say, a layout, a cover, or a logo, usually, one aproject is usually charged by the hour, which includes, revising, researching and many many hours of drafting and meetings.

Not to mention, your education, your portfolio and previous works will also help set how much people want to pay you.
