Default Blue smoke sa akong sakyanan, unsa common cause ani?

    Hello fellow istoryans,

Wala man nuon smoke if dili pasaka ang road maayo kaayo ug dagan.

I made some research online and research said that oil leaks sa combustion mao mo blue ang i-exhaust nya kailangan i-overhaul ang engine. possible valve seal issue, piston ring or piston issue daw.

Is this the only solution nga kailangan bungkagon ang makina para lang makita ang cause ani?

Tagsa raman pud hinuon ko musaka sa busay like once a week ra, so if pasagdan ra ni nako nga ingani lang... dili ba ni sya maka daot sa makina like mo abiriya sya after pila ka months? sensya na but newbie pa jud ko ani.....
toyota corolla xl diay ang unit nako.

Please share your thoughts mga bro/sis, thanks.

sakto na imong gi research bro.. mao ra gyud na solution is overhaul sa makina.. pila nay mileage/tuig ana imong sakyanan bro?

ug pasagdaan lang na nimo ma palyado najud imong makina madugayan.. lose compression.. basa sparkplug..

Not necessarily e over haul ang makina, as you've said mo smoke ra siya kung tangason meaning, mo sulod ang oil sa imong intake valves dapit, meaning need to change imong valve seals, kay kung piston rings man gud ang daot, mag aso na sya bisag dili pa tangason imong daganon.

First and foremost to determine if piston rings ba jud, ipa compression test imong sakyanan or do a leak down test to determine if piston rings ba jud. If below na sya sa owners manual na range sa compression nya meaning ilisdanan na imong piston rings.

But sa akoang opinion valve seals ra ang ilisan sa imoha. Just my 2 cents bai.

thanks mga boss sa pagshare sa inyo thoughts it's really helpful. I agree that overhauling the engine is the solution jud if the problem is with the piston rings but nagduda ko if sa piston rings ba jud or dili kay di ra man gud mag smoke kun dili pasaka ang dalan so I begin to think that it could be something else.

it makes more sense sa kang Calibre45 that basin sa valve seal ra ang problem which can easily be replaced compared to a piston ring issue kay dili raman mag smoke if patag ang dalan. im just trying to save money kun ma dala pa and i just hope valve seal ra jud ni.

    just to add up...
black smoke - engine oil mu sud na sa combustion chamber, thus piston rings, pistons or inside the combustion chamber naa blema and one of the indicators ani kay kalas na og engine oil. check if the engine oil filler at the valve cover kusog og back pressure and naai black oil mu gawas. mao black smoke ang exhaust because of conaminated oil at the chamber. ( needs to be overhaul)
Also check ang air filter might clogged up the intakes, cause pud sa black smoke....
blue smoke - too much air intaked, thus check ang valve clearance if sakto pa ba basin dako na og abli ang valves. or the cam shaft and the valve parts. (recommend og tun-up).
White smoke - water is presence at the combustion chamber, thus low power na ang pag processo sa makina. check ang cylinder head gasket in between sa engine block. or retorque or tighten soome bolts. witthin the head and the block.....(recommend check head gasket and retorque bolts)

^^black smoke kay rich a/f mixture mana bro. meaning sunog na sa gasolina dili sa oil.. ang oil nga sunog kay blue/gray..

yup, possible pud na sa A/F ratio....... if rich ang fuel then less kau ang air, then it leads to black smoke. (make an example sa candle or something burnt fuel.) basta less air, black smoke sad, thats sooth.... Dili pud possible if rich pud na ang duha(A/F) madungan, mao naai choke... it has to be a Air/Fuel Ratio, something is equal or lesser....
if sa gasoline engine, check ang carburetor. or the valve clearances
if sa diesel engine, check ang injection pump or the valve clearances.

if oil tends to enter sa combustion chamber, black smoke creates. suwaye lng, pag sunog og panapton or something. observe the smoke, then put an oil diba black smoke na. same rana og concept sa makina.....try lng.

thanks mga bro, pero sa karon wa man ko nag worry sa black smoke kay wala may makita sa exhaust nga black, but blue. i recently spoke with a shopowner/specialist diri sa may mabolo and told him bout the case and he said that it is still ok to open the head and check/replace the valves but its still not a guarantee nga mawala ang blue smoke labi na dugay2x na sya nga unit. wala napud sya mo advice ug further compression and leak down test for now kay wala may backfire and maayo paman jud sya so far ang pagdagan nya. He added nga if magpaopen man gani ko sa head and check the valves, much better if ipa semi overhaul nlang pud para makita jud ang situation sa mga piston/ piston rings para ma usa ra ang trabaho, anyways, gamay raman daw ang difference in terms of labor cost. tangtangon man ghapon ang head if mag valve replacement. its ok to replace valves daw but in the event nga mo blue ghapon sya even after valve change, mas mudako kuno ang akong magasto so its better if usahon nalang nako once naa na koy sakto2x nga budget. He further added that its ok to still use the unit for now as long as macheck nako ang oil volume almost everyday and also do monthly tune up and not to worry bout the smoke for now daw until makita na jud kuno nako ang blue smoke even if patag or stationary ang vehicle, at that time need na jud i overhaul.. so i still have time nga makaprepare kuno ko ug sakto nga budget in case mo aggrevate ang situation just in case daw.

ngano same raman ang concept naa diay panapton sulod sa engine?

black smoke means that the system is running rich, in other words too much fuel...
