Naa ko question master kay galibog gyud ko ani, mangayo kog idea ninyo mga scientist.
If light speed is so fast then how fast these jets expelled from blackholes?
mas kosog ni siya sa light or dili?

light speed x distance
------------------------------ = blackhole jets
velocity
wala ko makasabot but ang gravitational pull ng blackholes are so great that they can absorb and bend light.
Nice topic! We can learn new things! :d
Naa man tay gitawag nga "Event Horizon". Kanang event horizon mao na ang area in which the gravitational pull becomes so great making it impossible to escape. And ang light that is emitted from beyond the event horizon can never reach the observer kay di naman mka escape, but if ang light was emitted before the event horizon, pwede pana mka escape. So perhaps, blackhole jets are produced at the accretion disc just before the boudary of the event horizon, mao makit-an pana nato siya. And regarding sa iyang speed? According to Einstien's Theory, light speed is the ultimate speed, and light would always be light and its speed would always be no matter where you are and what speed you are travelling. Therefore, iyang speed kay speed of light ra gihapon.
Lastly, blackhole jets show a redshift, which means that it is stretched by the gravity of the blackhole, and the expansion of spacetime itself. A leading hypothesis suggested that the black hole's gigantic mass distorts space and time around it, twisting magnetic field lines into a coil that propels material outward and streams of particles wind a corkscrew path away from the black hole.
Just to clarify things, are you talking about "Quasars"? Kay mao pud ni akong questions. Personally, I have an idea how quasars are formed, but the question is that if the gravitational pull of black holes is so great that even light cannot exist, then technically quasars move faster than a speed of light, it does violated the law of physics, but according to scientist, black holes are following a higher law, since in a black hole, all law of physics are broken down, time itself stops.
How I wish nga naay astronomy club diri sa cebu. Is their any groups na pwede mag amot amot para mo himo tag og telescope?
^ bro pwede mo tan.aw? maski imo kong pabayron... hehehehe
