Di ko sure brod, but mura dili mo support ug external HDD ang TV kay naay ceratin limitation na capacity ang usb port sa mga LCD/LED TV... but sure ko compatible ra na ug Flashdrive...so far 8gig is working fine sa ako..LCD pa gani ni Bravia 32"... And kung naa mobaligya nmo sa ana na kantidad imo gpangita sa external HDD, expect na sooner or later di na na moandar kay nakafeel na ang tag-iya ana na it's time to let it go na...

and one thing wala pa ko kakitang external nga walay enclosure

depende na sa tv bro sauna ako LCD 32" nga samsung dli mo basa sa ako 500gb nga external hd karon ako new LED na samsung 32" maka basa up to 1 terrabyte..

Panghuwam sa before ka palit... Doubt ko sa capacity sa TV, I mean all TV's with regards sa external HDD, not unless TV Live media player na imo Storage<the one that plays your media using your hdd>.. But stand alone external HDD plug to USB port of tv TV... ambot lang..
