i dont wanna consult a vet ky pangwartaan na pud mi. natagam na ko ana, duha man gud ni amu gsd...
pero kini ra xang usa ang allergic ug manok/naay inanang samad... pls kog tambag ky malouy gyud ko nia...

same problem here TS. gi allergy pud among GSD x Belgian Malinois
nangapahak man ang dapit sa ilong pero di kaau grabe. nya iyang balhibo di na kaayo tarong.
murag nang-gagmay napud. mura na syag opaw :\

ingons akong manghud allergic daw ni xag manok mao ng bantayan na gyud ni nako permi iyang kina.on... pero ambut oe.. ako intawy nalouys iro...

Food allergy

Allergies to meat proteins, dairy proteins, eggs, gluten and lactose are some of the most common food allergies. If your dog has food intolerances or allergies, feed him food labeled "hypoallergenic" or food specifically designed for dogs with sensitive skin.

Remedies for existing skin problems

* For hot spots, prepare a mixture by dissolving two aspirin tablets in one tablespoon of rubbing alcohol. Take another cup of warm water and dip a tea bag in it. Mix the two and let it cool. Shave the hair around the hot spot, and apply the mixture with a cotton ball and use as often as required. You can follow it up with a cortisone spray or cream that is available over the counter.

* Allergies are the most common cause of itching in dogs. Allergies may be caused by contact with an allergen causing multiple crusty lesions that are extremely itchy. Give your dog a cool bath for ten minutes to relieve itching. You may add colloidal oatmeal in the bath.

* For itchy feet, mix Epsom salts in cool water. Dip the dog’s feet in the water for 5-10 minutes, ensuring that he does not drink it.

* Ear mites in dogs often cause excessive scratching in areas around the ears. Soak a cotton ball in mineral oil and gently swab the ear canal. This will remove the ear mites but only temporarily.

* For insect bites, use water mixed with baking soda to relieve the itch.

* Flea collars are not advisable for use over a long period. If your dog tends to catch fleas often, a diet that includes yeast and garlic is an effective way of keeping fleas at bay.

An itchy skin often leads to canine and feline hair loss if the itch is not attended to in time. In addition, itchy skin is almost always a precursor of an underlying or hidden medical condition. Home remedies can, at their best, provide only temporary relief. They can provide comfort to the dog for some time and give you some adequate time to arrange for expert consultation.

You may want to start giving your dog Brewer's yeast or Fish oil supplements (Omega 3 fatty acids), to improve your dog's skin and coat as it will moisturize your dog's skin and will prevent it from dryness.

sakto ka brod! last time? nag kunsulta mi sa reddish and flaky skin sa amo dog,, pero guess what? reseta man dayun:
Royal Canin nga dog food for sensitivity daw? tagpila? php995, lisod balibaran kay naa nay gitunol resibo? wheeew! ipahurot pa gyud within 2 weeks,, then if naa pa daw balik lng mi? malipong!

kami ra tawn nag sulbad sa problema:

1. no human food only dogfood, any kind.. naa lng ngale ka napakaon ana nga d mao, so if d ka kabalo asa ato? stop human food. just give them dogfood, if new pka nag change ug dogfood then nigawas na? mao to cause ana,, try switch to other.
2. antibacterial shampoo for dogs., every otherday to namo iligo naa sa instruction.
3. frontline drops kay kasagaran if naa skin probs, naa kuto., so if mokawt masamad gyud=kagid

that's all folks...

mao ra gyud na,, after 1 week naa nay improvement.

try sulfur soap. mao ako gina buhat pag naa ko new rescue nga gina kagid. ug inig mag start katol akong dobies. sulfur dayun. dali ra mag uga nya murag mag change fur dayun. lukewarm na water 1st. tapos sulfur soap. tapos i scrub for 2mins atleast. nya banlawan nasad ug luke warm na water.
