    Kung kinsa to nga gusto mag kat on og self defense at the same time cardio exercise, try aikido!too mo kay tinuod ni.try mo og observe sa baseline og uban pa nga dojo.i respect all the dojos and senseis but i think they will all agree with me on this.

    Aikido for me is the best martial arts agree ko nmo TS 100%.......

    member ko sa baseline aikido. hehe dugay nako wa kabalik ngadto.. 2 years na siguro... i miss aikido.. green belt rajud ko ay.

    Naka try ko ug aikido before sa baseline. Ki Aikido, defensive. I prefer combat/offensive aikido, or any full contact martial arts.

    Mas maayo ug cardio exercise ang boxing and kickboxing (muai thai, yawyan, etc..).

    Some martial arts kay maayo lang sa porma. Pero sa actual streetfighting / life and death situation, ineffective siya.

    OT: Interested ko makat-on ug Yawyan... a Filipino offensive, full contact, deadly martial arts.

    I have tried Karate and Aikido pag high school. Although if trained naka sa basics and intermediate sa self defense, naana kay edge. Pero dili siya fit for actual streetfighting / real time combat.

    naa sad sa mandaue og sa talamban bro. sa mandaue aikido center man tingali na si sensie tj og sa talamban and baseline pareha ra na sila ang nag dala.both pareha nga nindot. naay makaingon nga dili effective ang aikido sa actual street fighting, but i beg to disagree. try to observe lang bro sa mga sessions.then just try to ask a sensei if in real life applicable ba ang aikido, you will be surprised. sulayi adto ang mandaue aikido ni sensei tj...peace!

    aikido is pure self defense manjud... di siya mo work sa opponent kung kabalo siya. or martial artist sad... may rajud ni kung street thugs or hold ups magamit.. pero before jud ma apply kelangan jud na ma master sa nimo ang technique.. kay dapat maka perform naka before nimo huna huna-on... it takes years to master the techniques in aikido.. which wa jud nako ma master.. hahay... tinuod grabe kayo makapasingot ang aikido... as in grabe jud makasingot... base on my experience...

    @botoy: naa sad diay ka aning matanga bro...para nako dili man sya kailangan nga mo effect sya sa actual gyud..sample lang is if imong kontra kamao sad..pero dili lang aikido ang discipline..like taekwondo or yaw yan..

    base sa akong na basahan sauna..ug sulti sa akong amigong blackbelt sad sa lain nga martial arts..dawat kay dawat ra gyud ang aikido..imong huwaton ang error sa kuntra...

    pero wala gyud ko ma train ani..lain man tong akong g trainan..Eating man noon..hehehehe
