Samsung Galaxy S2 Battery Life per charge

Hello Guys, just wondering pila ang battery sa inyong SGS2.

My SGS2 last for 14 hours max.
My battery usage states that Android OS consumes 95% most of my battery.

My Android version: 2.3.3
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.XWKF1

I've read that there is Android version 2.3.4 (fixing battery issues)
but Samsung Kies stated it differently, it said I got the latest firmware.

and No update was found when trying to search for updates via Phone update menu.

My sisters android phone last for 2 days max with older android version.
I think it was froyo, her phone is SE X1.

up ko... don't get me wrong diay, i love my SGS2... pero i would love it better if mag last siya for 2 days.

Depends on my usage, I've gone as high has 7days w/o any recharge and naa pay 30% na bilin. What your experiencing now is the Andriod OS bug theres no way to fix it yet but there is a way to minimize it, requires rooting and flashing. I offer such services if your interested.

running on battery for 11 hours using only 21% of my battery,
leaving 79% remaining battery for my SGS2.. hmmm...
my SGS2 must have been scared of the idea of being rooted. hahaha..
anyway, what i remembered doing before i got this better battery performance
for my SGS2 was that i deleted/uninstalled my pre-installed yahoo msgr app, which was
always running as a service on my system.
then i removed(from idle screen and stopped in running service) battery widget apps
which is also running as service. and other unnecessary running apps was stopped.
I then recharge the phone to 100% then tested it. then yeahey! it worked for me.

the Android OS battery consumption dropped from 90%->80%->-70%->49%->17%(lowest i got)

2 days of battery life is OK with me.
I can now wait for a newer firmware that possibly could extend my battery life longer.

mine goes around 8hrs+
3g and other online services enabled.
phone not in use standby mode lang pero pag disabled background data, gps battery life kay 14-15hrs ra pud.

on stock, I got 13-14hrs with:2hrs games, 2hrs wifi, played mp3,gallery slideshow, few calls and text,played short mp4 files,download apps and recieving updates. at full max bightness100% in dynamic setting and on live wallpaper.only3g is off.
good enough to charge during night( at 10%).but i got 2more spare batt thats why im not bother much. the only thing i notice is every diffrent batt has diffrnt performance the stock is smooth and has 3.7+k while the new 1 batt is a little smoother and can reach 3.8+k and the 2nd new has hiccups and barely 3.4k bnchmark max. return the 2nd for rplacemnt.

there are a lot of factors that affects the battery performance on the S2

most users of S2 in xda-developers have simply rooted their firmwares to a custom rom that does well on the battery management part.

Also, most of them have purchase the 2000 Mha battery and some have claimed that it incredibly gave more battery life on their phone....

This has yet to be proven on a user level though kay each user has different customization /usage and preferences on their S2s.....

You did the right thing. My battery has also shown great improvement when I uninstalled the Yahoo! Messenger app. That buggy app! Haha

Me, wifi always on, emails, facebook, playing games from time to time, reading articles through PULSE, text and calls..

Battery life: 18 hours.

Naksulay ko same settings, on gihapon email and pulse notifications. but mu check rako sa ako phone panagsa ra kaayo kana ra if naa text (usually sa weekend). maabot pa cya og monday nga wala ma lowbatt.
