More images of the ASUS MARS II graphics card surfaced as the manufacturer prepares for the official launch.











The ASUS MARS II is a dual-GTX 580 graphics card. It will feature a core frequency of 816MHz, shader frequency of 1632MHz, a memory frequency of 4008MHz, 3GB of GDDR5 memory and 1024 CUDA cores. The ASUS MARS II graphics card is reported to have a limited quantity of 1000 units with a price tag of €1,000 (S$1,714) (PHP 59,990) each.

That's EU pricing. It's gonna be cheaper if it's sold in the US. Prolly around $1300.
But the limited edition will bring the resale value up to those reselling the card.

with that kind of money, you can get 2x GTX 590's or 2 or 3 GTX 580's at cheaper prices. BOTH options are faster!

OH Don't give me the excuse "It's for people that has only 1 pci-e slot motherboard" If you can spend $1500 on a video card, THEN YOU CAN DEFINITELY AFFORD TO BUY A MOTHERBOARD that has SLI/CF/Multiple PCI-E Slots.
