This is not mine. I just found this on the net. I just want to share this to all of you. This would help us to eliminate the automatic connection to the gprs of the network when there is no wi-fi which the gprs we know is expensive. Hope this helps.

Kung hindi na nagpprompt kung anong connection ang gagamitin mo sa pagbrowse ng internet, this thread will help you!

Tumawag ako sa customer service ng nokia philippines pero di na ako natulungan puro hang na lang ang ginawa nila .

Share ko lang sa inyo itong basic troubleshooting ng C3 bug regarding wi-fi.. madali lang naman ito, sabihin niyo agad sakin pag may hindi kayo naintindihan ok ba yun mga bords!



HOW TO PROMPT WHICH CONNECTION [WI-FI or GPRS] TO USE

Check Wi-fi Settings
1. Go to menu
2. Settings
3. Connectivity
4. WLAN
5. Internet Connection > Ask first

Check Internet Settings
1. Go to menu
2. Internet
3. Web Settings
4. Configuration Settings
5. Configuration
6. Default

Create a new Personal configuration settings
1. Go to menu
2. Settings
3. Configuration
4. Personal Settings
5. Add new > Web
6. **Wala kayong babaguhin dun basta press BACK
7. Options > Activate

>> eto ang KEY para magprompt kung ano ang gagamitin mong connection (WIFI or GPRS) pag mag-iinternet ka


Kung may ginagamit kang prov file pang internet, eto ang UNANG gagawin mo before connecting to wi-fi PARA HINDI GPRS ang magamit na network for browsing

1. Go to menu
2. Settings
3. Configuration
4. Default config. Settings
5. Select Personal config

Ayun na! Kapag nagbrowse ka internet, magpprompt na siya.

Kung di mo naman gagamitin ang wi-fi, set back the DEFAULT CONFIG. SETTINGS to the prov. file you use to browse the net using modded Opera Mini
