Recommend me an Android Phone (9K Budget)

Guys recommend me an Android Phone that can/has:

• call
• text
• WIFI

Must not be those "china phones". Must not LAG coz I've heard rumors that Android phones will LAG on the long run.

Budget: 9000php Fixed.

find a good condition used LG Optimus One.

with that 9k range maximum, a used LG Optimus One has the 512Mb RAM and true dedicated graphics processor. (dont worry on LAG, free modding is all the way!)

the newer models; bnw LG Optimus ME(coming), bnw Samsung Galaxy 5, bnw Samsung Galaxy mini, and used HTC Wildfire are only using a certain openGL that is powered through the main processor and not with a separate graphics processor. Their resolutions too are not that good enough.

Cherry Mobile Nova is also good(dont mind the brand name, it has good reviews | im not sure though if it has dedicated gpu).

blizz, you may opt for the LOO (lg optimus one) nalang due it has lots of in-depth modding. im sure you love overclocking your phone and extract the best performance it can deliver ^^ (someday ^^)


cherry mobile nova has few to no resources in modding.

Like they said, the LG Optimus One. I would also recommend SE X10 Mini, or the SE X8. Both fit in your budget if you look hard enough (brand new). Both the X10 mini and X8 have active modding communities on XDA.

Also, I'm not sure but I think CyanogenMOD officially supports the Nova's generic name (I believe) is the z71. CyanogenMOD Nova
