The Cape is an upcoming American one-hour superhero drama series. It is scheduled to air on NBC during the 2010–2011 television season as a midseason replacement. A 2-hour premiere is scheduled for Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 9 pm Eastern and Pacific Time with an encore showing 24 hours later, after which the series will move to its normal Monday 9 pm timeslot beginning January 17

PLOT

The series, set in the fictional metropolis of Palm City, follows an innocent cop who has been framed for a crime he did not commit and then left for dead after he is caught. He is eventually saved by a circus ringleader who prepares him with special abilities to defend himself against his foes. Separated from his wife and son, he tries to clear his name while protecting them from being killed in the event that he should be reported alive. He takes the law into his own hands by taking the guise of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape, after he is given a special suit that has unique capabilities. Vowing to get rid of the corruption that has taken over both the city and the police force, he goes after the person responsible for setting him up and causing his "demise".

A new superhero drama series for 2011. Looks like a BATMAN story in a TV Series. Hope it won't be cancelled just like HEROES.

interesting. another new series that looks good on paper. hope the pilot wont disappoint. looking forward for the premiere...

first three episodes.... definitely promising....

but di kaayo ing-ana kalawom ang plot which would mean it could only last for 1-2 seasons

dili kau ko ganahan sa father-son drama i always fast-forward when it comes to those parts medyo cornihan rako lol but the hero scenes are fun to watch and a bit comedic. also my fav scenes are the ones with summer glau (orwell) in it

overall just an OK series for me but not something i would look forward to every week.

Yup medyo shallow ra kayo ang plot sa series...but it's good to see Summer Glau back ^^ I love that chick from Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles series.
